OHVI at RiverBend is a 388 bed state-of-the art tertiary care center for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery serving a population 350,000+. 

RiverBend has an established TAVR program, Robotics and currently on the cutting edge of moderate sedation TAVR. OHVI has 2 integrated operating rooms, a Hybrid operating room and 3 da Vinci Xi robots.

The CT Surgery team is recognized as regional leaders who draw from beyond the primary service area

Our team includes 3 Physicians, 4 Physician Assistants and 3 Perfusionists
Average of 12-14 cases per week
Daily rounding, including weekends
Limited Floor rounds (consists mostly of removing chest tubes and pacing wires)
Call is shared with 3 other Physician Assistants
Perioperative care of Cardiothoracic patients includes: First assisting, EVH/open vein harvest, radical artery harvest, ICU rounds
Cardiac Surgical first assisting experience preferred
EPIC EMR
