PeaceHealth is seeking a RN - Recovery Room for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Evening position to provide professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. Hourly compensation starts at $41.39, more depending on experience.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:
As the Peri Anesthesia nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient and family needs, planning and coordinating care, and for consultation of interdisciplinary services. Procedures and treatments that you would provide in the Peri Anesthesia Department include but are not limited to placing venous access, drawing bloodwork, medication administration, fluid, and blood administration, placing of peri-procedural pain blocks, ultrasonography, intubation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Patient population and diagnoses vary from minor to critical to include both elective and emergent surgeries. As part of the Peri Anesthesia Team, you will work to determine level of care based on patient stability, discharge appropriateness, and resource and referral allocation. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 to 1:4 based on ASPAN standards and the patient’s dynamic stability and acuity.
