PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon is seeking a EKG Technician for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position.  Hourly compensation starts at $17.73, more depending on experience. Operates electrocardiograph equipment (which may include treadmill tests, ECGs, Holter monitors, etc) to record the electromotive variations in heart muscle to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.

Details about the position:

  • Performs EKGs, and may perform Holter monitors, event monitors and ambulatory blood pressure monitors on patient.
  • Processes and edits EKGs.
  • Charts confirmed EKGs. Records and files information related to tests performed.
  • Cleans, adjusts and performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • One year prior direct patient care experience OR completion of an EKG training program is required.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
  • Certification as a Cardiographic Technician within 3 years of hire preferred.
