Description
PeaceHealth's OB-Gyn/Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Ultrasound Sonographer for a Per Diem/Relief, Day position. Hourly compensation is $39.24 - $66.45; hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience.
We invite you to join our PeaceHealth team. In our unique setting, our services provide care across the continuum (including high risk and challenging diagnoses) for all of our women, of all ages. In considering joining our team, we hope you may have OB/GYN experience, while you can enjoy the luxury of no nights or weekend shifts, no call, and 4-day work weeks when possible. You will support and learn from our highly knowledgeable and qualified providers, with additional high-risk expertise from our partners at OHSU.
Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasound equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Responsible for initial assessments, summarizing diagnostic data and communicating this information with diagnostic images to the interpreting physician.

What you bring:
Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasound sonography program required or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by the national registry through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Bachelor’s degree in ultrasound technology preferred.
