Description
PeaceHealth is seeking a Coder II - Hospital Coding for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day, Remote position. Hourly compensation starts at $29.48 to $44.22, hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience.
Ideal Candidate: 3 years of In-Patient Hospital Coder Experience,ICD-10-PCS.
This position will be performed fully remote. If telecommuting, PeaceHealth will provide the caregiver with necessary computer equipment. It is the responsibility of the caregiver to provide Internet access.
Must reside in Washington, Oregon, Texas or Alaska.
Responsible for advanced coding of inpatient, observation, emergency room and ambulatory surgery records, including the assignment of ICD-10-CM diagnosis and procedure codes, and CPT4 procedural codes, as well as the abstraction of clinical information for hospital services.
