PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian I - Nutrition Services for a part-time, 0.6 FTE, position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is$32.32 – $46.43. 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Inpatient Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Florence, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to patients within the hospital setting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time hours in a dynamic healthcare environment. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation and follow up of outcomes.
• Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team. Uses evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines
• Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies, and community resources
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Master's degree that meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) requirements
• Must be able to design, implement, and evaluate instructional materials.
• Current Medicare provider status number may be required.
• Registered Dietitian or registration eligible (must pass the Registration Exam 180 days)
• Current licensure/ certification as required by State.
