PeaceHealth is seeking a Social Worker - Behavioral Health for a Part Time, 0.50 FTE, Day position. Hourly compensation is $35.67 – $53.50; hiring rate dependent on qualifications, professional experience, and/or work location.
As an independent clinician and within the scope of practice, responsible for an advanced level of social work, providing psychiatric/medical evaluation and consultation, clinical risk assessments, care plan development, diagnosis of behavioral health conditions, care coordination, writing of orders for behavior management, assessment regarding need for consultation by psychiatry, care management and disposition planning. Has privileges granted by the Regional Medical Staff to function as a Licensed Independent Practitioner and must adhere to both the policies, privileges and procedures of PeaceHealth and Medical Staff governing documents, including but not limited to the Allied Health Professional Manual. As a Licensed Independent Practitioner, the SW LIP functions without a physician sponsor and assume the responsibility and liability for an independent practice.
