Position: Physician – Psychiatry

Location: Longview, WA

Duties: Diagnose and treat mental health disorders such as schizophrenia, depression,

bipolar disorder, and phobias. Prescribe and administer psychotherapeutic

treatments and medications to treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorders and conditions in patients. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Develop patient care plans using a variety of treatments. Collaborate with Physicians, Psychologists, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, and Licensed Clinical Social workers to discuss treatment plans and progress. Local travel within MSA to additional employer worksites required. Day shift, but call on evenings and weekends is required.

Wage Range: $275,124.13 to $338,000 per year

Requirements:

1. M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
2. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Psychiatry Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Psychiatry Residency.

 3. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington (or ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington prior to hire).

4. Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or Board Eligible (If Board Eligible, must achieve Board Certification within five (5) years of completion of residency and applicants must agree to do so.)

• Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
