RN – Nurse Residency Program, Sacred Heart Hospitals Riverbend (Springfield, OR) and University District (Eugene, OR).
PeaceHealth is accepting applications for our upcoming Nurse Residency Program at Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend & University District in Springfield & Eugene, OR. Other locations also participating are Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, OR and Cottage Grove Community Medical Center in Cottage Grove, OR. Our current hiring cycle has start dates continuing through December 5th, 2022. Our next hiring cycle is perfect for Fall/Winter graduates with seminars starting Spring 2023. More specific dates to come.
This is an exciting opportunity for new graduate nurses to enter a program providing technical excellence as well as nursing excellence, compassionate care for our patients and community. The Nurse Residency Program provides a comprehensive transition to practice program offering interactive, evidence-based curriculum designed to build clinical skills and competency in patient outcomes, leadership and the professional nurse role. This is a 12-month program reflecting the Mission, Vision and Values of PeaceHealth.
To qualify for this program, you must be a new graduate RN who has been licensed for less than 12 months with less than 6 months of Acute Care experience as a Registered Nurse.

Position Commitments:
Required: Current Oregon RN license required prior to start date. BLS from the American Heart Association.
Education: BSN strongly preferred. If ADN graduate, commitment to complete a BSN program within 3 years is preferred.
