PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington   is seeking an Imaging Associate for a PER DIEM/RELIEF position to support the operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department.  Hourly compensation is $17.06 - $32.37; hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience and/or terms of Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Details about the position:

  1. Manages the digital imaging that comes from outside facilities and the release of PeaceHealth-sourced images and reports.

  2. Process release of information requests for patients, referring offices, and other medical facilities.
  3. Receives and prepares all digital imaging exams, ensuring all patient information from outside facilities are present and accurate.
  4. Locates and requests previous exams from outside facilities.
  5. Faxes reports to corresponding health care providers per requests
What you bring:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Minimum of one- year related work experience
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Professional telephone skills that demonstrate the highest level of customer service.
  • Ability to operates office equipment that includes but is not limited to fax, copy machine, document scanner, CD burner, film digitizer and multi-line phone.
  • Must be fully vaccinated or exempted for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date. PeaceHealth has a medical and religious exemption request process for those that are unable to receive the COVID-19 primary vaccine series due medical/religious reasons.
