Description
Over 130 years ago, the Sisters of St Joseph came to the northwest corner of the Puget Sound to open a small community hospital. Fast forward to present day and PeaceHealth St Joseph is the sole community hospital and Level 2 trauma center, providing care to the North Puget Sound area.
PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Manager Continuing Medical Education for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $26.80 – $40.20. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.
Job Summary
Responsible for all physician education that is sponsored and accredited through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program. Provides program management, administration and oversight to ensure that all CME activities comply with state and national accreditation standards and the CME Mission. Works with Medical Staff leadership, CME Committee(s), Quality, Peer Review, Patient Outcome and Department chairs to identify physician education needs and to develop courses that improve physician competence, performance, and patient outcomes. Supports CME Committee(s) regulatory oversight of CME activities.
