PeaceHealth is seeking a Project Manager Value-Based Care Programs for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. 

The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25 - $66.37. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Job Summary

Works with and supports value-based care programs, including Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), Cascadia Community Care Alliance (CCCA), Community Connect and provides leadership in managing a portfolio of small to large scale projects across PeaceHealth's value-based opportunities. Coordinates team resources and distributes responsibilities accordingly. Works with other departments to ensure project tasks and objectives are achieved within the established timeframes. Anticipates project risk and plans appropriate actions to avoid or mitigate risks to project schedules, budget, deliverables, quality and staffing. Manages small to medium moderately complex projects.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates and partners with project sponsors and leaders to develop project definition to include project scope, financial, timeline, risks, dependency, resource needs, and alignment to strategic imperatives.
  • Manages all aspects of assigned projects including requirements gathering, work plans, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, purchases, and deliverables.
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within budget and within scope. Develops detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation. Ensures project resource availability and allocation.
  • Identifies issues and offers solutions including if/when the overseeing project sponsor should be consulted.
  • Assists project sponsors in project vision and partners with project stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, including all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manages project risks and issues, determining a course of action, considering constraints and objectives enabling continued project progress.
  • Collaborates, communicates, and engages effectively with cross-functional, departmental teams and stakeholders to execute project goals and deliverables.
  • Reports on progress and provides regular updates to CIN and CCCA senior leadership and other key stakeholders as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or healthcare/business related field. (Required) 
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Management. or healthcare/business related field. (Preferred) 

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience (Required)
  • Business analysis or case development experience (Preferred)
  • Healthcare and quality improvement project experience (Preferred)

Credentials

  • Project Management Professional Certification (Required within 60 days)
  • Lean Certification (Preferred) 

Skills

  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and other development processes and methodologies. (Required)
  • Change management and leadership experience. (Required)
  • Ability to independently exercise good judgement, prioritize and manage multiple projects. (Required)
  • Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of understanding. (Required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. (Required)
  • Exceptional political awareness and meeting facilitation skills. (Preferred)
  • Ability to utilize effective communication strategies; able to implement, drive business successful business outcomes, and work effectively with all levels of the organization. (Preferred)

Working Conditions

Lifting

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

Mental/Visual

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
