Practice Highlights
- Multi-specialty Cardiology practice with 16 cardiologists and 10 APCs; EP team is 2 physicians and 3 APCs
- Great team approach with supportive colleagues
- FTE range of 0.8 (1,664 hours/year) to 1.0 (2,080 hours/year)
- General Clinic Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Support offered by MAs, LPNs, RNs and dedicated device nurses
- Patient appointments are 30 minutes; anticipated patients per day: 12-14
- No call

- Guaranteed first-year salary range, based on a 1.0 FTE and years of direct experience (0-3, 3-5, 5-9, 10+): $138,216.00-$162,000.00

Job Summary
Within scope of practice and in alignment with both hospital staff bylaws and PHMGs physician supervision expectations, responsible for advanced level of nursing evaluation, clinical assessment, prescribing and monitoring medications and follow-up care for patient. Responsible for patient and family teaching.
Essential Functions
- Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
- Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral.
- Gives directions to nursing and other staff.
- Prescribes medications and treatments and ongoing medication management. Orders lab and diagnostic tests when appropriate and interprets test results.
- Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
- Maintains legible, accurate, and confidential medical records. Documents all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals and consultations according to established standards.
- Analyzes new knowledge gained from conferences, workshops, professional literature, or “hands-on training” and assimilates this knowledge into clinical practice.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
