PeaceHealth is seeking a Lab Assistant Technical for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.86 – $35.78. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.
Job Summary
Performs laboratory testing and support services across the major areas of the laboratory. Performs moderate to high complexity laboratory procedures, as defined by CLIA, according to standard operating procedures. This testing requires the limited exercise of independent judgment and interpretation and is performed under the supervision of a medical technologist or department supervisor.

Washington State License/Certification requirements: WA State: Medical Assistant – the applicant should be eligible to apply for licensure at time of hire. Must have phlebotomy licensure prior to performing phlebotomy independently.
