This is a 36 hour/week, mid shift position; three 12-hour shifts from 1500-0330. The general salary range $50.21-$74.61 but the rate is dependent upon several factors, including terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • 52 bed department with 5 resuscitation bays, designated locked behavioral health unit, and helipad for Life flight services 
  • Level II Trauma Center serving all of Southwest Washington – one of only three trauma centers in the Portland area 
  • Regional Cardiac and Comprehensive Stroke Center

What you bring:

  • Current Washington or Multistate license required by date of hire.
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire.
  • PALS and TNCC required within 1 year of hire. NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency nursing or graduate of the PHSW ED Fellowship/New Grad program.

Essential Functions:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
  • Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
  • Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
