The Vice President (VP) of Surgical and Cardiovascular Services is a Registered Nurse (RN) who serves as the business leader accountable for procedural operations which includes oversight of and responsibility for perioperative standard setting, process improvement, optimization of operating rooms, catheterization labs, anesthesia, procedural resources, and financial accountability. This role oversees the local teams responsible for day-to-day operations, performance-related quality, safety, patient, and caregiver experience to ensure outstanding patient care to the community. The VP Surgical and Cardiovascular Services will build a culture of excellence and collaboration to enhance efficiency and enact quality programs. The incumbent is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic direction for surgical and cardiovascular services at assigned medical center(s) in partnership with our hospitals and ambulatory care sites. The VP develops, monitors, and executes strategic plans while engaging Surgical Chairs and their respective departments to ensure progress and advancement of the goals of assigned medical center(s). This position supports the Chief Hospital Executive and serves as a peer with other members of the executive leadership team which is accountable to deliver high quality patient focused care while supporting our mission at PeaceHealth.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $265,500 – $312,600. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, seniority, etc.
