PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager, Human Experience Education & Investment.
This hybrid role is based at the Shared Services Center in Vancouver, Washington, with the ability to work remotely 1-2 days per week. Role consists of interstate travel (Washington, Oregon and Alaska) to support the Human Experience Team, Caregivers and programs up to 25% of total time.This role is responsible for the management of the Education and Investment team, programs and offering. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, timelines are met, and service excellence is provided in all aspects of work. Serves as the technical subject matter expert for the team. Delivers education and investment programs as needed in support of team. Responsible for partnering with Human Experience Consultants, clinical education, ambulatory education, learning technology and other stakeholder groups to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives from conceptualization to execution; driving sustainable programs that deliver desired performance objectives and outcomes; and long-term business value in support of PeaceHealth's Mission. Participates in designing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Human Experience education programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, initial/ongoing competence, and improved performance of caregivers, leaders, and clinicians. Actively collaborates with other human experience team members, human resource partners, quality, patient safety and others on performance improvement activities to enhance caregiver experience, patient experience and safety, staff and leader competency and standards of care.

- Influences and executes on overall PeaceHealth Education and Investment strategy and approach by intentional design to ensure fulfillment of organizational learning and investment objectives. Works closely with executive sponsors, cross-functional teams, and other to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing of new initiatives as appropriate.
- Serves as an active and positively contributing member of the Human Experience Leadership team. Works collaboratively with all roles within.
- Oversees the delivery of all Education and Investment offering, to include virtual and in-person programs and products. Strategizes, implements, and facilitates consistent high quality program delivery to ensures achievement of learning program goals in alignment with organizational strategies and objectives. Delivers education and investment programs as needed. Ensures that, where indicated, Education and Investment programs and offerings comply with continuing education accreditation standards. Facilitates learning experiences within programs and other Human Experience offerings. Utilizes change management theory, standards of practice, and adult learning principles to design/plan, implement and elevate impact of Human Experience Education and Investment programs, product offerings and activities. Incorporates evidence-based practice and/or research findings into programs.
- Purposefully hires, leads, and manages the Human Experience Education & Investment Team (Educators and Coordinators), as well as promotes and facilitates individual `professional development.
- Oversees and delivers consistent, reliable and mission focused new caregiver orientation - PeaceHealth Orientation, across the system, on a bi-weekly cadence.
- Collaborates within the Human Resources department and across our PeaceHealth system with Quality, Clinical Education, Medical Group Education, patient safety, Talent Acquisition, operational, leadership and others in refining Human Experience Education and Investment products and opportunities.
- Develops and administers program assessment via audits and other evaluation tools to validate success of programs. Based on finding, recommends improvements or enhancements.
- Creates, produces, and maintains executive level summary of Education and Investment strategic initiatives and performance. Reports program offerings, initiatives, and progress of such to local and system leadership.
- In partnership with Marketing and Communications, creates and delivers internal communication to promote engagement in Education and Investment programs and product offerings, improve engagement and recognition.
- Manages approved vendor product relationship, under approved contractual agreements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration or related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
- Master's Degree or advanced training is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in healthcare education, leadership development and training.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Experience in adult learning theory, instructional design and needs assessment.
- Healthcare and/or business project, program or change management experience preferred.
- Prosci Change Practitioner certification or certification in change management, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft applications include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and others to successfully communicate and organize program work.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $51.10 – $76.66. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
