PeaceHealth is looking for a Hospitalist to join our team in Ketchikan, Alaska!

Ketchikan, Alaska is a friendly, family-oriented community in scenic Southeast Alaska, just an hour and a half flight from Seattle. Entrance to the famed Inside passage, a network of waterways, Ketchikan is on an island accessible by jet or ferry. Excellent schools, and a strong local economy, the Ketchikan community boasts an incredibly rich, native culture. The southern tip of the panhandle calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World.

Ideal Candidate

  • Board Certified MD/DO
  • Willing to work a block schedule of 7 on/7 off, rotating between days & nights

Practice Highlights

  • Hospitalist team consists of 3 full time, 3 part time and per diem pool
  • 25 bed critical access hospital with 4 bed ICU
  • Average daily census of 8-12
  • Dedicated call room
  • EPIC EMR System

Department/Location Specific Notes:

  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire.

  • Guaranteed first-year salary (based on 1.0 FTE): $362,555.44/yr.
