Hospice RN (32 hours/wk, Variable Shift) – PeaceHealth
Location: Bellingham, WA.
FTE: 0.80 | Salary Range: $44.34 – $80.37/hour

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice team on a part-time basis. This variable shift position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful end-of-life care rooted in dignity, comfort, and peace.

As a Hospice RN, you will deliver direct skilled nursing care, manage individualized plans of care, and coordinate services across the interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, and evaluate care with attention to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients and their caregivers. This role involves both in-person patient care and the critical documentation and communication necessary for exceptional care coordination.

Details of the position:

• Perform physical assessments and determine eligibility for hospice care

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care and caregiver education

• Create and manage care plans and collaborate across disciplines

• Support families during bereavement and discharge planning

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

What you bring:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Minimum one year of RN experience (hospice, home health, or inpatient)

• Current RN license in state of practice

• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and BLS certification

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
