PeaceHealth is seeking a full-time BC/BE Psychiatrist to join St. John Medical Center's established behavioral health team in beautiful Longview, Washington. Consider joining the robust and collaborative team of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Registered Nurses, and ancillary staff. PeaceHealth's commitment to Behavioral Health is reflected in our state-of-the-art 22 bed inpatient psychiatric locked down unit, community advocacy, and integrated behavioral health leadership. The community Longview is perfectly nestled in between Portland and Seattle, providing quick access to the airport, big city amenities, National Parks, and the Pacific Ocean. J-1 Visa sponsorship may be available for 2022.

• This practice opportunity can offer a schedule of 100% inpatient with no call - OR - 90% outpatient with an inpatient call rotation.  

• Comprehensive and patient-centered care with a cohesive, well-connected team who have a passion for serving these patients

• Treat both voluntary and involuntary patients ages 18 and over with acute psychiatric and behavioral disturbances requiring the safety of a locked unit. 

• Also provided and available: Consults for Inpatient Service and Emergency Department as needed

• Opioid detoxification and treatment through a buprenorphine (suboxone) program 

• Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
