PeaceHealth is seeking a Identity/Access Management Analyst for a Full Time, Day position.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the goals, strategy and methodologies of the IST Security program in alignment with regulatory compliance requirements, policies, and risk management standards. Performs an array of security services including user provisioning, audits, and data analysis. Contributes lasting value by protecting patient and caregiver privacy, confidentiality, and security.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Supports the alignment of IST security solutions with IST strategy and operations, in support of PeaceHealth goals. Provides effective and compassionate communication to internal and external stakeholders/customers, ensures goals are met, provides status updates, and conducts risk assessments, security audits and analysis as necessary.
  2. Supports integration of systems, applications, processes, access accounts (IAM/RBAC), go-lives, upgrades, enhancements and technologies, based on business and technical requirements, and exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the IST Security team.
  3. Provides provisioning (IAM/RBAC) of Internal/External User setup and activation, changes, and termination. Supports on-boarding and integration of new departments, organizations, and/or facilities.Participates in building security roles and security design.Provides support with the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of security controls for applications.Evaluates and refines existing processes.Analyzes user access needs: develop access roles, and add/change/delete user access.
  4. Supports established system application audit policy and procedures, perform regulatory audits of security and privacy access, and maintain logs and reports of audits completed. Reports findings to IST Security management and appropriate Breach Teams.
  5. Maintains responsibilities of assigned area; ensure continuity and quality of services; prepare long and short-range goals for assigned projects; support the development of policies and procedures for assigned area.
  6. Provides service support to IST and other customers for information security policy, procedures, Identity Management (IAM/RBAC), confidentiality agreements, and in providing caregiver security training, education, and awareness services. Coordinates with Human Resources, IST, and other caregivers to assure access authorizations meet requirements. Supports security access control initiatives and serves as a technical resource.Collaborates in the development and implementation of an organizational “awareness in depth” culture.
  7. Collaborates with IST development teams for continuous improvement to the security program. Analyzes and documents resource requirements for assigned scope of responsibilities.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS - Required unless otherwise stated

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field. Equivalent knowledge, training, education, and/or experience may substitute for degree.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Epic certification/experience highly preferred; may be required within a specific time parameter post hire.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Minimum of three years of Information Technology, Information Security, Audit, and/or Compliance related experience.
  • Health Care experience preferred.
  • Epic Security Certification experience preferred.

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Knowledge in IAM technologies (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).
  • Clear understanding of confidentiality and security of information.
  • Knowledge and development of RBAC.
  • Current knowledge of government and other regulatory requirements as they pertain to access and user management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills are required.
  • Strong time management skills and capacity.

SYSTEM PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work requires fairly light physical exertion from up to 65% of the time.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.
  • Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.
  • Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (up to 65% of work time).
