PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE full-time Neurologist to join our thriving practice in Vancouver, Washington. Consider joining the largest and most established neurology practice in Vancouver, with a robust team of 8 neurologists and two advanced practice clinicians. The neurology clinic is located on the campus of the hospital, allowing general full-scope outpatient practice days with inpatient call requirements, as well as incorporated telemedicine because the team enjoys seeing patients in a variety of settings. Candidates with subspecialty experience in EMG/NCS, Botox Injections, and EEG readings are highly desired. The PeaceHealth physicians are experienced, collegial and fun, and can offer mentorship to a new Fellowship graduate. The support staff at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center provides high quality excellent medicine with continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient.

Highlights about the practice:

  • Four day work week and monthly call
    • Monthly Call: Four evening telestroke phone-call nights from home and two days of inpatient rounding
  • See up to ~14 patients daily, 1:1 Medical Assistant, scribe support available if desired, using EPIC EMR
  • On-site EEG services and six-bed sleep lab
  • Full-time neurohospitalist team supporting our DNV-certified stroke center
  • PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is a 450-bed hospital with a Level II trauma center, offering dozens of  comprehensive specialty services for more than 275,000 patients annually. 
  • State-of-the-art 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation floor provides intensive therapy services.
