Cottage Grove Community Medical Center and Clinic is part of the PeaceHealth Oregon West Network. Financially strong, this Critical Access Hospital and Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time, EXPERIENCED internal medicine or family medicine nurse practitioner to join the Hospitalist team in the heart of Cottage Grove, OR.

The very collaborative and congenial group of providers and employees makes the facility feel very warm and welcoming. As a team player in a state-of-the-art facility you will have multiple resources available.

  • Including system-wide Epic EMR
  • On site lab
  • And an all-digital imaging department
  • Infusion services
  • Rapid response team from the ED available 24/7 for your hospitalized patients


The position:

  • Full-time (single covered), shift is from 7 am – 7 pm
  • 14 bed community based Critical Access Hospital. 4-8 patients, but can be variable
  • Work closely with nurse manager, RNs, CNAs, NCM/SW and therapists (PT/OT/ST). No attending specialists, no RT
  • CT/XR and lab available 24/7. Ultrasound available during business hours Mon-Fri. Echo 1 day per week, mobile MRI 1 day per week
  • Attached 24-hour ER covered by full time ER physicians
  • Remote telemetry monitoring
  • Telehospitalist cover at night
  • Unofficial/Phone consults with PeaceHealth RiverBend specialists
  • Swing bed patients are considered outpatient and can be transported to consultation visits during their Swing Bed stay, for example ortho f/up after fracture, etc….
  • Depending on hospital and walk-in clinic volume and staffing, may be asked to assist in walk-in clinic on occasion
