Annual compensation is $144,580.80 – $216,881.60; hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience.

PeaceHealth seeks a Director of Nursing

We seek a Healthcare Director of Nursing – Riverbend campus, who has a proven track record for:

  • Promoting change, facilitating redesign, and implementing systems and processes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation within all programs and clinical units.
  • Developing patient care programs and Implementing effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality and outcomes of nursing care delivered to patients.
  • Providing nursing leadership on issues including patient safety, healthcare quality, emerging technology and innovation and maintaining alignment with regional direction on these issues.
  • Developing effective interdisciplinary relationships with medical staff to ensure the presence of an on-going quality improvement program by providing leadership for patient safety, quality improvement, service excellence and physician satisfaction.
  • Budget development and accountability for all operational departments assigned ensuring all financial performance measures are met.

The Director of Nursing builds relationships resulting in compassionate and committed teams within the services and with all stakeholders. This position is responsible for providing leadership and directing nursing practice and clinical functions for assigned nursing units in order to develop, promote and implement a clinical services and nursing professional practice environment.

Qualifications for the Director of Nursing role include:

  • BSN required.
  • Masters degree in Nursing, Business or Healthcare is required within 2 yrs of hire date.
  • Minimum of 5 yrs of progressively responsible nursing leadership is required.
  • Experience with collective bargaining units is preferred.
  • Experience working with clinical teams and physician group to reach consensus is preferred.
