PeaceHealth Medical Group is seeking an outstanding Urgent Care - Section Chief Physician to join the robust Memorial Urgent Care practice located in beautiful downtown Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will be a board certified Family Medicine, Urgent Care Medicine, and/or Emergency Medicine Physician with previous leadership experience. EPIC experience is preferred. BLS and ACLS are required. PALS and ATLS are preferred. For colds, flu, fractures, infections, burns and other non-life-threatening conditions, PeaceHealth Urgent Care Memorial is ready to help.

  • Collegial team of two physicians, with five experienced advanced practice clinicians.
  • Work life balance schedule: ~13 shifts per month / ~39 shifts per quarter.  Variable shifts with day call for APC clinical monitoring.
  • Affiliated with the Emergency Department of Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA; a Level II Trauma Center.
  • Physician-led medical group offering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • System-wide EPIC EMR with ability to order medications electronically. 
  • Onsite x-ray, lab, and pharmacy services available for rapid care.
  • Lead responsibilities:  Advanced practice clinician supervision, quality and safety standards for the department, setting strategic plan for the department, office efficiencies, managing referrals, interactions with other departments, and annual evaluations.
