PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Special Care Nursery nurse for a new job opportunity at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington. The Child Birth Center has 10 Labor and Delivery suites, 4 OBED rooms, 2 ORs, 2 PACU bays, 13 mother-baby rooms, and ten levels two special care nursery. We have full-time night positions available. You will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, helping to safely take care of newborns in our ward.

Minimum requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
• At least one year of acute care neonatal RN experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated competence in the area of expertise.
• Must meet all training requirements for the specific departments.

• Starting wage of $35.96 an hour (more DOH)
• Differential pay - Evening 11% of the base union rate, and Night 19% of the base union rate, $1.25PH for BSN/MSN (one for each) and $1.25PH certification pay
