PeaceHealth’s Ophthalmology Clinic is offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

PeaceHealth’s Ophthalmology Clinic is seeking Ophthalmic Assistants, Ophthalmic Assistants Certified and Ophthalmic Assistant Technicians for Full Time and Per Diem / Relief positions in Vancouver, WA.

**There is a possibility of some Saturdays for all new eye care techs – we also have varied start hours, mostly 8 – 5 (1-hour lunch) **

Ophthalmic Assistant (OA)

Required Licensure:

  • Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OCS) through JCAHPO or Scribe Certification through American College of Medical Scribe Specialists (ACMSS) required within a year of hire.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
  • MA-R (Medical Assistant Registered – Washington) required within 120 days of hire (applied for by Clinic upon hire).

Starting Wage:

  • $16.00, more depending on experience.


Ophthalmic Assistant Certified (COA)

Required Licensure:

Starting Wage:

  • $21.30, more depending on experience.

Ophthalmic Technician Certified (COT)

Required Licensure:

  • JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification required within 120 days of hire.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
  • MA-R (Medical Assistant Registered – Washington) required within 120 days of hire (applied for by Clinic upon hire).

Starting Wage:

  • $23.42, more depending on experience.
