PeaceHealth at RiverBend Medical Center and University District Medical Center is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Medical Director of Hospitalist Services. Our Hospitalists are a proud and progressive group who work collaboratively and share the goal of providing safe, individualized, and compassionate care. The Hospitalist group consists of approximately 50 employed providers. We are seeking a leader who will be responsible for leading clinical quality, service excellence, safety, as well as patient and provider satisfaction.

 Opportunity Details:
·Will work in partnership with the Director of Hospital Medicine in a Dyad role.
·Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs to lead quality improvement initiatives for the Hospital Medicine service line.
·Collaborate with other departments and operational leaders to oversee clinical quality, process improvement, and implement recommendations for optimizing care standards.
·Interface with Medical Directors of other service lines to collaboratively develop/update co-management and service line agreements, and proactively work through any concerns and issues that may arise.
·Assist operational leadership in responding to and addressing clinically related patient concerns.
·Cultivate program growth and development.
·Participate in Hospitalist mentoring and serve as a liaison to Hospitalists requiring individual support, coaching, and/or redirection in keeping with established Hospital Medicine performance expectations and PeaceHealth behavioral standards.
·Contributes to the strategic development and the operational and financial success of the program to promote quality outcomes, growth, and financial performance. Identifies and is proactive in responding to opportunities, issues and concerns that impact the program.
·Actively participate in Hospitalist recruitment and new hire onboarding (including conducting preliminary phone screens, 1:1 interviews, 1:1 orientation sessions for new Hospitalists).
