Job Description


PeaceHealth is seeking a Dir People Analytics for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.


Responsible for developing data strategies and structures to inform and advance our people operations and goals. This position will play a key role in shaping and influencing how we embed data-driven decision making throughout HR and the organization. Proactively consults with customers, and partners with key stakeholders, to ensure the right data and metrics are available to deliver insights that drive better business decisions – both today and into the future. Creates and oversees governance structures and processes to enable high quality, reliable data.


  • Develops and delivers a people data strategy to ensure we have robust and effective insights into people operations and strategies
  • Managers people analytics policies, governance, reporting, advanced analytics, and modeling
  • Develops ongoing strategic partnerships with human resources COEs and other stakeholders to identify and deliver impactful data analytics and visualization solutions that enable better decision making and outcomes
  • Oversees the designs, development and implementation of reporting, dashboards, and narratives to inform and influence decision making
  • Partners with IT on strategy, design and maintenance for data infrastructures and business intelligence tools to ensure quality products and services.
  • Designs and implements data governance programs to ensure performance optimization, standardization, and data integrity.
  • Manages communication and training on people analytics to ensure HR and Leaders can effectively use the data and tools to make decisions
  • Develops reporting and data analytics support model to ensure products are timely, appropriate, and compliant maintain data security and are timely
  • Analyzes, visualizes, and models data to provide insight and actionable recommendations
  • Develops testing strategies and standards to provide high quality and accurate results.
  • Provides people leadership including coaching, mentoring and work oversight
  • Performs complex and cross-functional root cause analysis to identify continuous process improvement opportunities
  • Oversees benchmarking to ensure appropriate target setting and metrics are available and incorporated throughout
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Required unless otherwise stated


  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, information technology or a related field.


  • Minimum 7 years progressive experience in data analytics is required
  • Minimum of 5 years people leadership experience required
  • Human resources/People and/or Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of modern analytics and BI Visualization tools, Tableau preferred
  • Experience with programming and modeling (SQL, R, Python)
  • Successful track record of delivering data analytics and reporting that meet business objectives


  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to present information in meaningful ways to varied audiences including executive
  • Demonstrated relationship building and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to effectively manage within it
  • Self-directed and demonstrated collaborative team skills
  • Creative problem solver
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of statistics.
  • Strong business acumen


  • Work requires fairly light physical exertion from up to 65% of the time.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.
  • Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation.
  • Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (up to 65% of work time).
