Job Description


PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager of Facilities Services- Systems Services Center.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.


Responsible for managing the overall System Services Center (SSC) facility services. Security, safety, cleanliness, general appearance, café, environment, receptionist area, landscaping and building tenants. Responsible for all space planning activities and common space for the SSC and tenants of the building. Provides operational oversight and supervision of the assigned receptionist function. Manages contracts for 3rd party resources such as environmental services, security, landscaping, fitness center and café management. Responsible for effective and collaborative leadership of assigned staff at the System Services Center.


  • Coordinates daily activities and workflow of assigned staff. Ensures adequate staffing, equipment, and supplies for completion of work.
  • Manages the receptionist function at the SSC and ensures adequate staffing and professional representation of PeaceHealth is exemplified.
  • Ensures administrative coordination and office oversight. Leads System Services Center space planning, housekeeping, café organization and building tenants.
  • Supervises the environmental services function, ensuring the overall cleanliness and general professional appearance of the SSC. Ensures the safety, security, cleanliness, general appearance and functioning of the SSC facility.
  • Coordinates the use of shared space with building tenants.
  • Supervises assigned staff, including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, development. and performance management. Recommends selection of 3rd party resources. Works with leadership to assist in the development of policies, procedures, and enhancements to the delivery of services and operations of the SSC Facilities department.
  • Managers space allocation, moving and installation services
  • Serves as a leader for PeaceHealth sponsored caregiver activities and events for the SSC.
  • Assists department leadership with budgeting needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree: or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience, preferred.


  • Minimum of five years of experience in office environmental and support services required. 
  • Minimum of two years of leadership experience required.


  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.


  • Ability to lead programs and work independently while achieving objectives.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work with people of diverse functional specialties, backgrounds, and levels, responding to their needs through collaboration and use of effective group dynamics.
  • Leadership ability and skills, good judgment, and a cost-effective approach to work management.
  • Strong facilitation, team building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with focus on treating all persons with respect and dignity.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Experience using a variety of software and information technologies (i.e., MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).


  • Work requires fairly light physical exertion from 34 to 65% of the time.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. or less.
  • Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail (34-65% of work time).
