PeaceHealth is seeking a Supply Chain Systems Specialist - Technologies for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.  Hourly compensation starts at $25.78, more depending on experience.

This position will be performed fully remote.  If telecommuting, PeaceHealth will provide the caregiver with necessary computer equipment.  It is the responsibility of the caregiver to provide Internet access.

Must reside in Washington, Oregon or Alaska.

Maintains Supply Chain master data and information systems, and develops, implements and manages information to support product/service contracts for PeaceHealth. Works with key stakeholders for system wide initiatives, system upgrades, implementation of software and assisting to define business needs for the design/development of software and processes. Develops a variety of custom reports to support key performance indicators as well as other business needs.

Details of Position:

  • Assists in the development, implementation, reporting and management of product and service contracts locally, regionally and nationally for assigned service lines within PeaceHealth. Researches new product categories, renewals, updates, bid analysis, price comparisons, problem resolutions and contract compliance. Ensures report data integrity and supports any supplemental databases in relation to contracts or product utilization.
  • Develops reports to demonstrate compliance for PeaceHealth, affiliates, vendors and other stakeholders. Performs market basket analysis, and supply/service bid analysis of proposals and agreements.
  • Reviews and identifies trends in product consumption by facility. Presents various types of information and reports from analysis to key stakeholders as requested.
  • Implements and maintains contract and Value Analysis toolsets; implements and maintains tracking tools for administrative fees and contract rebates, as identified by Supply Chain Leadership.
  • Maintains files and databases in MMIS systems, including item master, vendor master, contract pricing, requesters, locations, shopping templates and other data elements, to include bulk uploads of data.

What you bring:

  • Associates degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science or other related field is required; equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting databases developing moderately complex spreadsheets is required.
  • Experience with Supply chain information system is preferred.
  • Healthcare product knowledge is preferred.
