Job Description

 

PeaceHealth is seeking a part-time Student Intern in our Recruitment Marketing department.

This Summer Internship is remote, however the caregiver must reside in OR, WA or AK. This summer internship ends on August 31, 2022.

Hourly compensation: $16/hr

 

Summary

Responsible for working closely with the Recruitment Marketing Manager and the Digital Marketing Specialist to support delivery of internal and external marketing  projects for PeaceHealth using established brand and graphic standards.

Details of the position:

  • Supports the projects for the department related to internal and external marketing .
  • Assists with social media content.
  • Assists with curating photos.
  • Drafts ad copy for print and digital ads.
  • Supports various events that occur annually.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

What you bring:

EDUCATION:

  • Enrolled in a college/university bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Must have earned at least 30 semester credit hours at the college/university level (or equivalent) and have a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.00

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Professional level writing skills required. Ability to produce accurate, readable written copy following available style guides.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with social networking tools and strategy.
  • Understanding of style guides and graphic brand standards.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and electronically, and troubleshoot print and graphic nuances to ensure compliance and good print and digital production.
